Yasmina & Bad Songs is an alchemy of jazz and electro-pop intent that gives life to elegant, refined and never banal sounds, applied to some of the most famous American standards and at the service of two original songs composed by Yasmina herself: from My Funny Valentine to Why don't you do it right?, from Come together to Night and Day. And many others.
An alchemy in which the warm and sensual voice of Yasmina, a singer with a solid lyrical foundation soon betrayed by an innate love for creative vocals free from stylistic boundaries, meets the “Bad Songs”, a jazz trio that, with a solid classical foundation, has been moving for years in the organic and ironic fusion of the various languages of contemporary music.
An encounter that, with the addition of Toti di Maio, a whimsical and never invasive guitarist, gives life to an album of great timeless songs, with original, fun and self-deprecating arrangements.
The first album by a band of artists and friends who play and create together in the name of a love that never fades, that for music and all its colors.

The recording of this album can rightly be called magical: a special alchemy was immediately created between the musicians and Marco Lincetto and in just 4 hours of a Sunday afternoon, strictly live-in-studio, this enchanting album was born. Nothing is missing: amazing dynamics, very refined and persuasive timbre, sound image carved in the rock of the 24bit/88.2kHz used for the recording.
