The precious "Vinyl Collection" are among the most appreciated albums by lovers of the purest audiophile sounds: precious treasure chests that contain musical pearls that shine with sounds that are truly difficult to listen to on other records. The perfection of the sound is confirmed by the awaited "Vinyl Collection Vol. 4" which contains 10 of the most beautiful songs from the entire production of the Stockfisch house in recent years. Among the protagonists of this brilliant sound journey we find the Irish composer and singer Brian Flanagan who sings "The Painter", a song inspired by the beauty of the landscape of his country. Similar to Flanagan in tone and interpretative method, is the new discovery of the German label, the London singer Steve Folk who on this occasion presents "Big River", a fascinating piece that combines melancholy and seduction. Although active for decades, Reg Meuross is also a new discovery for Stockfisch: he is an excellent folk singer of the English school who in "Vinyl Collection Vol. 4" performs "England Green & England Grey", an interesting song that contains a deep social criticism. Among the new arrivals there is also the Irish Ian Smith, a talented artist who demonstrates all his ability as a narrator. There are also some of the historical voices of the label such as Katja Werker, Steve Strauss, David Roth, Paul Stephenson and Ranagri. Enriching an already exceptional cast is the icon of electronic music and the European new wave movement, Anne Clark who, having arrived at the Stockfisch studios in the 80s, returned in 2022 for the recording of her latest album "Borderland" from which the evocative song "How to Become Unbroken" is taken which closes the B-side of "Vinyl Collection Vol. 4". Don't miss it!
