24bit/88.2KHz original recording made at Magister Area Studios, Preganziol (Italy) on May 2009.

Three years after her first solo album, the new project by Paola Casula is finally available. The great Paduan interpreter with this work is definitely proposed as one of the great ladies of Italian pop. Thirteen new songs, specially written for her by sophisticated and refined authors such as Vittorio Matteucci, Alessandro Mozzi, Alessandro Magliarditi, Piera Fanton and Marco Strano, who also edited all the musical arrangements of the album.
We can rightly coin the term "pop-jazz": in fact, on a classical structure of "song" is inserted the stylistic code of the musicians who accompany Paola, all jazz musicians of high stylistic profile. On this cultural substrate are then to graft a whole series of echoes, references and quotes to certain soul of the 70s - Roberta Flack and surroundings - and some English pop - Prefab Sprout and surroundings - typical of the 80s.
The album closes a tribute collegially wanted by performers, authors and producer to the great season of Progressive 70s, presenting the only cover on the album: A Salty Dog by Procol Harum.

Recording, mixing and mastering, performed in the Magister Area studio by Marco Lincetto, lead to a sonic result that can rightly be defined sumptuous. In particular, this record stands out for the great dynamics available, distinguishing itself in this from ALL other similar projects available on the market today.
A response by Marco Lincetto to the so-called loudness war, offering with "Linfa" a unique object for fans of absolute sound quality, in a genre - pop music - surely mistreated by the great majors. A unique and rare listening opportunity for demanding audiophiles.
