Notes

JAZZ: original composition by Fiorenzo Zeni, Nicola Piovani, W. Tononi, M. Loesch, B. Eno Sax Four Fun: Stefano Menato, Hans Tutzer, Fiorenzo Zeni, Giorgio Beberi / Mario Brunello, cello / Maria Pia DeVito, vocal / Paolo Fresu, trumpet and flugelhorn / Mauro Negri, clarinet / Domenico Nordico, violin 24Bit / 96 kHz Digital Recording. Live in studio at Chiuppano Public Auditorium (Vicenza, Italy) April-June 2002

The basic idea was to choose some of the most famous themes from Moretti's film soundtracks and transform them into jazz standards, also played by classical musicians. Alongside Sax Four Fun, we see Paolo Fresu, Maria Pia De Vito and Mauro Negri, but also Mario Brunello and Domenico Nordio, who used their precious instruments: a Petrus Sanctus Maggini cello and a Guarneri violin from the 18th century.
