Here is a truly transversal album: some of the most famous American classical composers, and not only, of the 20th century, pay homage to the popular rhythms and dances of the two Americas. Barber, Copland, Piazzolla and again Bennet and Millhaud grappling with the Tango, the Samba, the Blues, the Ragtime Waltz, Cuban dances, the Brasileira. The protagonists are two black and shiny Steinway&Sons concert grand pianos, which with their varied and multiple sounds, fill the album as much or more than a large orchestra, also aided by a recording characterized by the highest quality possible today.
